We will be riding Chilean horses, which are small and especially bred for the mountainous terrain, they are used to being ridden by diverse people, and are all easy to ride.
Comfortable saddles with sheepskin seats will be the most pleasurable experience, whether riding for a few hours, or several days.
Multi-Day Horseback Riding Trips -
Cochamo Valley- 3-7 days- Ride into the Yosemite Valley of Chile to our base camp at the confluence of La Junta creek and Cochamo river, below the big walls, with waterfalls, 3000 year old Alerce trees and world class swimming holes.
Continue up the valley over the Andes Mountains and into Argentina to El Bolson.
Espolon Valley/Michimahuida Valley-4-5 days
Ride from the pueblo of Futaleufu over the Andes arriving at the Amarillo Hot Springs, near Chaiten, passing several alpine lakes, up the Rio espolon, over the pass and down the Rio Michimahuida valley, at the foot of the glacier covered Michimahuida Volcano of Parque Pumalin.
Las Escalas/Rio Chico-2-3 Days
A new trail built by Sendero(Trail) Chile which passes through the high country near the Argentina border, returning through Las Escalas Valley and the Rio Futaleufu
Rio Puelo Valley-10 Days
Combine rafting with horses as we explore the Rio Puelo valley on the northern border of Parque Pumalin
Rio Azul Valley-3-4 Days
Ride up the super scenic Rio Azul, surrounded by glacier topped peaks andwaterfalls. Return by inflatable kayak through the class II rapids, with an optional class III+ finale.
